Rocco Dal Vera

Rocco Dal Vera is head of voice and speech at University of Cincinnati’s College – Conservatory of Music; co-author of Voice: Onstage and Off and Acting in Musical Theatre; editor of Standard Speech, The Voice in Violence and Film, Television and e-Media Coaching; founding editor of Voice and Speech Review; and a monthly contributor to Dramatics Magazine. He is a certified Alba Emoting trainer with specialization in voice and emotional extremes and serves on the faculty at Xavier University’s Leadership Center. Resident voice coach, Associate Artist: Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Human Race Theatre. Mr. Vera coaches shows from L.A. to Broadway and has worked on over 500 films and television shows, including L.A. Law, Hill Street Blues, THIRTYsomething, Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Gods Must Be Crazy.
