Jennifer Haley is a Los Angeles-based playwright whose plays include The Butcher's Daughter, S_Man, Dreampuffs of War and Gingerbreadhouse. Her work has been seen across the country at The Blue Theatre in Austin, Women's Theatre Initiative in Cincinnati, The Empty Space in Seattle, Stark Raving Theatre in Portland, Ore., Perishable Theatre in Providence and Abingdon Theatre Company in New York. Ms. Haley earned an M.F.A. in playwriting at Brown University, where she was awarded the Weston Award for Drama and the Joelson Prize in Creative Writing. Her latest play was developed at New York University's hotINK festival, the Seven Devils Playwright's Conference and Brown/Trinity Playwrights Repertory Theatre before appearing in the Humana Festival. Ms. Haley is most recently the recipient of a 2008 MacDowell Fellowship.

In a suburban subdivision with identical houses, parents find their teenagers addicted to an online horror video game. The game setting? A subdivision with identical houses. The goal? Smash through an army of zombies to escape the neighborhood for good. But as the line blurs between virtual and reality, both parents and players realize that fear has a life of its own.
