Props Artisan (Overhire)

The Properties Artisan is responsible for completing projects having to do with the construction, restoration, or modification of furniture, set dressing, and hand props built of wood, steel, or other materials.

Deck Carpenter (Overhire)

The Deck Carpenter (Overhire) will supervise run crew, achieve stage management directives and provide on-site technical support for a production in rehearsal and performance.

Followspot Operator (Overhire)

The Followspot Operator (Overhire) will be primarily responsible for operating the followspot for assigned productions and events produced at or by Actors Theatre.

Lighting Technician (Overhire)

The Lighting Technician (Overhire) will be primarily responsible for assisting in the load-in, maintenance, and operation of theatrical lighting and atmospheric equipment for assigned productions and events produced at or by Actors Theatre.

Overhire Wardrobe Assistant

This overhire Wardrobe Assistant will be providing wardrobe support for the production to be performed in the Victory Jory Theatre during the 2018 Humana Festival of New American Plays.

Coat Check Attendant

This position staffs Coat Check, checking coats and other items for patrons, distributing assistive listening devices and providing customer service to patrons, volunteers & staff.

Electrics Shop Manager

Electrics Shop Manager is an integral part of our team of theatre electricians. The role’s primary responsibility is assisting in the load-in and operation of theatrical lighting and atmospheric equipment for all productions and events produced at or by Actors Theatre. The Electrics Shop Manager is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, the upkeep of the physical shop space, as well as the stocking of all expendables as per established policies.

Director of Individual Giving

The Director of Individual Giving is a key member of Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Development Department, which is responsible for raising approximately $5 million annually in contributed funds. The Director of Individual Giving is responsible for developing and implementing a multi-year strategic plan that will increase annual giving from individual donors with an emphasis on unrestricted, renewable gifts.

Assistant Sound Supervisor

The Assistant Sound Supervisor manages all engineering personnel and provides the resource of technical expertise to the Actors Theatre Sound Department.  This individual is responsible for the immediate supervision of work calls and system load-ins and strikes, as well as assisting in all areas of equipment installation and maintenance. In addition, the Assistant Sound Supervisor is responsible, for weekly scheduling work calls, as well as being the point person for theatre events and production rehearsal needs.

Child Talent Guardian – A Christmas Carol

The Child Talent Guardian is a member of the Stage Management team who is onsite whenever a child actor is on location. The Child Talent Guardian is also the responsible adult in charge of supervising young cast members in a production. For the purposes of this posting, “young cast members” refers to anyone in the cast less than 18 years of age.
