Carpenter (Overhire)

The Carpenter (Overhire) works as part of the Sets Department team to construct, transport, set up, run, change over and strike all sets used in Actors Theatre productions in The Humana Festival of New American Plays, and is required to help maintain a safe, clean and friendly work environment.

Wig Supervisor (Seasonal)

The Wig Supervisor will determine how to realize the design intentions for any hair and wig needs for every Mainstage, Holiday, and Humana production at Actors Theatre of Louisville; this position is then responsible for the realization and creation of those designs. They will work with the Wig Assistant to deliver those designs on schedule, and will then make sure those designs remain consistent and maintained throughout performances.

In addition to being responsible for managing the daily operations of the wig shop, this position may also be tasked with training additional wardrobe team members to facilitate any hair, wig, or stage makeup needs during performances.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the marketing department with audience engagement, content management and digital markining initiatives.

Patron Services Associate

The PSA is responsible for enhancing patron theatre-going experience by extending the highest level of customer service handling inbound and outbound ticket sales; exchanges and questions or concerns regarding programming, dining, and parking.

Wardrobe Assistant (Overhire)

This overhire Wardrobe Assistant will be providing wardrobe support for the production to be performed in the Victory Jory Theatre during the 2019 Humana Festival of New American Plays.

Lighting Technician (Overhire)

The Lighting Technician (Overhire) will be primarily responsible for assisting in the load-in, maintenance, and operation of theatrical lighting and atmospheric equipment for assigned productions and events produced at or by Actors Theatre.

The Building Services Staff Member is responsible for effective completion of standard daily cleaning procedures, specialty cleaning, support services for events and maintaining the overall appearance of the Actors Theatre’ facilities.

Professional Training Company Apprenticeships

Actors Theatre’s distinguished training program offers a variety of professional apprenticeships in acting, artistic, production, and administrative departments.
