Administrative Services Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Administrative Services Coordinator is an internal customer service provider working directly with the Theatre’s staff and vendors to meet the administrative/office operational needs of the organization. This position is part-time with a flexible shift working daily, 20 hours per week.

Accounting Assistant (Part-Time)

The Accounting Assistant (part-time) will handle data entry and file maintenance of accounts payable, accounts receivable and other aspects of the accounting office of a major resident theatre company. The job will require 15 to 25 hours per week based upon the needs of the organization.

Grants Manager

The Grants Manager works with the Director of Community Partnerships to research, apply and write grants and proposals for government agencies, private foundations and corporate funders. Responsible for prioritizing and meeting application and reporting deadlines. This position works with the Director of Development, Senior Staff and Artistic leadership to identify projects and needs within the organization to create opportunities for new funding streams.

Building Services Staff Member

The Building Services Staff Member is responsible for effective completion of standard daily cleaning procedures, specialty cleaning, support services for events and maintaining the overall appearance of the Actors Theatre facilities.

Costume Design Assistant

Under the supervision of the Costume Director, the Costume Design Assistant will work with guest Costume Designers to facilitate the realization of costumes for assigned Actors Theatre of Louisville productions. The Costume Design Assistant will also have the opportunity to coordinate and/or design costumes for Professional Training Company productions, as assigned by the Costume Director.

This is position will give an early career theater artist- with a proven interest in costume design- the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the costuming process, by working within a major regional theatre costume department and alongside costume design professionals.

Professional Training Company Apprenticeships

Actors Theatre’s distinguished training program offers a variety of professional apprenticeships in acting, artistic, production, and administrative departments. Full-time season apprenticeships offer in-depth, hands-on experience, and are ideal for college graduates seeking transition from academia to the professional theatre or for individuals considering a career change.
