Lobster Feast 2011 Was a Success!
Guests dressed as Mad Men characters, the Kennedys, hippies and beatniks all came out in support of Actors Theatre’s ninth annual Lobster Feast. More than 750 people joined in the fun at The Louisville Marriott Downtown. Guests enjoyed cocktails and bid on fantastic silent auction items including jewelry, wine tastings, private cooking lessons and beautiful original artwork. After an all-you-can-eat lobster dinner, the auction continued with lively bidding on unique experiences such as dinner on the set of Dracula and trips to Key West, Cape Cod and the Mayan Riviera. The proceeds from Lobster Feast—over $100,000 this year!—contribute to the theatre’s general operating fund and help to create inspirational theatre.
