Traffic Flow Forecast

In order to help you plan your visit, Actors Theatre has developed a Traffic Flow Forecast that anticipates traffic flow for the current and upcoming week of performances.

Traffic Flow Forecast Definitions

Normal – Traffic volume is expected to by typical for downtown given the time of day and day of week.
Increased Volume – Traffic volume may be more than is typical, based on a small number of downtown events due to begin at or near the same time.
Heavy – Traffic may be at a high volume based on a significant number of downtown events due to begin at or near the same time.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: January 8 – 13

January 8 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performance on January 8.

January 9 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performance on January 9.

January 10 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performance on January 10.

January 11 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performance on January 11.

January 12 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee and evening performances on January 12.

January 13 matinee performance: Traffic is anticipated to be increased volume prior to the matinee performance on January 13.

January 13 evening performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the evening performance on January 13.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: January 15 – 20

January 15 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on January 15.

January 16 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the performances on January 16 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

January 17 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be increased volume prior to the performances on January 17.

January 18 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on January 18.

January 19 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the matinee and evening performances on January 19 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

January 20 matinee performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee and evening performances on January 20.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: January 22 – 27

January 22 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performance on January 22.

January 23 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performance on January 23.

January 24 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the performance on January 24 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

January 25 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the performance on January 25 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

January 26 matinee performance: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the matinee performance on January 26 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

January 26 evening performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the evening performance on January 26.

January 27 matinee performance: Traffic is anticipated to be increased volume prior to the matinee performance on January 27.

January 27 evening performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the evening performance on January 27.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: January 29 – February 3

January 29 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on January 29.

January 30 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on January 30.

January 31 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the performances on January 31 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

February 1 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on February 1.

February 2 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the matinee and evening performances on February 2 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

February 3 matinee performance: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee performance on February 3.

Please note: The 2nd Street Bridge will be closed to traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through November 2019.


To avoid missing the beginning of the show, please consider leaving early to beat the traffic and enjoy the gallery exhibit or relax in our Mezzanine bar prior to the performance.
