Actors Theatre congratulates former Humana Festival playwright A. Rey Pamatmat, winner of the Lark Play Development Center’s Playwrights in New York Fellowship.  The yearlong fellowship begins in October and includes a $27,000 stipend, housing in a Lark apartment and admittance to Lark playwriting programs.

A. Rey Pamatmat’s work was most recently seen by Actors Theatre audiences in this past season’s 35th annual Humana Festival–his play Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them was part of the Festival’s lineup.  Pamatmat also wrote for The Open Road Anthology (2007 Humana Festival).
