Traffic and parking will be affected for patrons attending the Fifth Third Bank’s Dracula matinee performance on Sunday, October 30th due to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk occurring downtown.

Due to the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk on Sunday, October 30, there will be significant traffic changes that will impact your travel to Actors Theatre of Louisville.  The walk, which begins at 1:00 p.m. from Waterfront Park, will result in closures of all normal access paths to Actors Theatre’s parking garage.

Actors Theatre has worked with the Louisville Metro Police Department to secure a special alternate access route to the Actors Theatre’s parking garage. We encourage you to review the map in advance and allow additional travel time.

Special Parking MapSpecial instructions to Actors Theatre for October 30 only:

  • Approach the Theatre from south of Market Street by traveling northbound on 5th Street.
  • At the corner of 5th and Market Streets, turn right (east).
  • Once on Market Street, shift to the left (north) side of the street before reaching 3rd Street.

At the corner of 3rd and Market Streets, please stop and identify yourself to the police officer stationed at the corner as an Actors Theatre patron. The officer will permit you to turn left, going north on 3rd Street in a special lane marked with traffic cones to access the Theatre’s 3rd Street entrance to the garage.
