In 1978, he received a Peabody Award for the film “Who’s Child Is This”. Actors Theatre of Louisville will forever be grateful for his friendship, guidance, and visionary legacy.
Executive Artistic Director Robert Barry Fleming shares, “Reverend Al was a consistent and loyal friend to the Louisville arts scene including serving on Actors Theatre of Louisville’s board. His legacy of philanthropy and arts advocacy was as noteworthy as was his kindness to our organization, but what I’ll miss the most was his thoughtful, steady presence and generous spirit.”
His presence will be sorely missed by all in the local and national arts community.
