Alan C. Edwards (Lighting Designer) Broadway: he was the associate to Jennifer Tipton on The Testament of Mary. Off-Broadway credits include: Harry Clarke (The Vineyard), for which he received the Lucille Lortel Award, Kill Move Paradise (National Black Theatre), Drama Desk Award nominee; and Native Son and Measure for Measure (The Acting Company). Regional credits include: Lights Out: Nat King Cole (Geffen Playhouse, People’s Light); American Moor (Arts Emerson); Dutchman, The Bacchae, Antigone, Macbeth and The Tempest (Classical Theatre of Harlem); Twisted Melodies (Center Stage Baltimore, Apollo Theater Chicago, Mosaic), Henry IV Part 2 and Fingersmith (Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Penny Candy and Stagger Lee (Dallas Theatre Center), We Are Proud To Present (The Guthrie), Man of La Mancha (Westport Playhouse), Sweeney Todd (Connecticut Repertory Theatre); and Jeremy McQueen’s Madiba (The Kennedy Center).
