Alina Whatley (she/her) is a Bay Area native and a graduate of Wesleyan University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in theatre and biology. She is joining the Professional Training Company after working at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, where she served as a box office representative and an ambassador during the 2018 Ground Floor Summer Residency Lab. Previously, she worked with American Conservatory Theater’s Collaborative Youth Arts Project, as a dramaturg and production assistant for Darren Canady’s Black Butterflies. Alina has also worked in a variety of positions at San Francisco’s The Marsh, and has volunteered her time as a dramaturg and reader at several institutions.
