Althea Allen Dryden is the staunchly proud daughter of Frank and Reah Allen and the wildly lucky mother of Amari and Grayson Dryden. Althea is a lifelong Kentukianian minus grad school in Ohio and has spent her life exploring the ways our stories of identity shift and shape our sense of belonging.
As the Program Director at the Louisville Story Program, Althea has the joy of partnering with Louisvillians whose stories we don’t hear enough to produce magazines and publish books that preserve their valuable contributions to our community. She believes people are the dots and stories are the lines we each use to paint the pictures that tell us who we are in the world. Her life’s work is to connect the dots.
