Betsy Elizabeth Schwartz

Betsy is a Seattle-based actor and producer. As one of the co-founders of upstart crow collective, past performances with ucc include Lewis in King John and Henry VI in Bring Down the House (Oregon Shakespeare Festival/ucc), and Elizabeth in Richard III (Seattle Shakespeare Company/ucc). Other credits include: Antonio in The Tempest, The Princess in Love’s Labour’s Lost, (Seattle Shakespeare Company); Rosalind in As You Like It (Wooden O Theatre); Mrs. Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (Indiana Repertory Company/Seattle Children’s Theatre), Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol (A Contemporary Theatre); Helene in Festen, and Deborah in Tails of Wasps (New Century Theatre Company). She holds a MFA from Southern Methodist University and a BFA from the University of New Mexico.
