Kalen Feeney

A writer, actor, DASL, and teacher from the Pacific Northwest, Kalen Feeney grew up with a love of the outdoors and world travel—which led to studying in England for a Masters in Screenwriting. Kalen worked as a Staff Writer on the Untitled Josh & Lauren Starz Project and also wrote for Moonbug’s second season of “MyGo!” Kalen recently co-wrote a one-act play, based on devised material by the Pegasus Ensemble, which premieres in Spring 2025 at Imagination Stage (Bethesda, MD). In addition, Kalen is on a DASL team at The Public Theatre (NYC), working on a new ASL translation of “Titus Andronicus.”

Kalen has done writing fellowships with Inevitable Foundation, Sundance, and The Anderson Center (Deaf Artists Residency—DAR); taught screenwriting and playwriting workshops in the USA, Canada, and England; and performed in productions by Deaf Spotlight, Deaf West Theatre, and National Theatre of the Deaf. She is actively involved with the WGA’s Disabled Writers Committee and is represented by Gersh and Stagecoach Entertainment.
