Lipica Shah

Lipica Shah (she/her) is an NYC-based actor, voice actor, and alto who thrives on collaboration and new play development. She just closed The Play That Goes Wrong at Portland Stage and is thrilled to return to Actors Theatre of Louisville with this wicked team! Lipica has originated roles at Manhattan Theatre Club, The New Group, Mixed Blood Theatre Company, Cal Shakes, and American Conservatory Theater, among many others. On screen she recently recurred on MAX’s The Girls on the Bus and has also appeared on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Showtime, USA, Comedy Central, and Netflix. Hear her as an audiobook narrator, including for “The Fall of Roe” by New York Times journalists Elizabeth Dias and Lisa Lerer, and as a voice actor in the video game Starfield and English dubs of Pokémon, A Silent Voice, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, and more. As an inclusion advocate, she co-founded the nonprofit 1497 (which supports artists of South Asian descent and challenges their historical exclusion from and underrepresentation in the American film and television industry) and is on the Steering Committee of AAPAC (the Asian American Performers Action Coalition), with whom she received 2022 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre. @LipicaShah
