Omer Abbas Salem is a Chicago actor and Playwright. As an actor, he's worked with The House, Silk Road Rising, Steep Theatre, The New Colony, Jackalope Theatre, Eclipse Theatre, Bailiwick, Griffin Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Atlantic Theater, and Roundabout Theater. He has appeared in the television shows Chicago PD and Soundtrack. As a playwright, he's worked with Jackalope Theatre, National Queer Theater, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Definition Theatre, The New Colony, The Goodman Theater, and Steppenwolf Theatre.
