Sara Sandfort (Sickcom), a junior at Louisville Male High school, is anxious that her play is being produced in this year’s New Voices Young Playwrights Festival. Many around school may refer to her as shy and quiet, but don’t be fooled – her good friends will tell you a very different story. She participates in school activities: JROTC Drill, Art Club, SAM (Serving At Male), and Latin Club. With such a full schedule, not forgetting her work and AP classes, it was a wonder she even finished her play on time. She thanks her best friend Mya for editing her play and giving her the push she needed to continue writing.
