Sujotta Pace (Casting Professional, Actress, Stage Manager, Writer, Activist) holds a B.F.A from North Carolina A&T State University and is an M.F.A. acting candidate at Florida Atlantic University. She currently works at Actors Theatre of Louisville as the Professional Training Company & Casting Coordinator. Pace recently produced the Professional Training Company's Solo Mio Projects and New Play Projects featuring works by all 18 acting apprentices and playwrights (Alexis Scheer, Jane B. Jones, and Lisa Sanaya Dring). She is part of the producing and casting team responsible for the full season of programming at Actors Theatre and most directly has contributed to the casting of the Humana Festival of New American Plays, and Fix It, Black Girls. Previous credits include: Off-Broadway at MCC Theater (assistant director, Collective Rage) and Classical Theatre of Harlem (line producer, A Christmas Carol in Harlem; stage manager, Antigone). Pace has also worked regionally at Long Wharf Theatre, Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre, FAU Repertory Theatre and 7 Stages Theatre. Onstage she has performed Off-Broadway and regionally and is a member of Actors Equity Association.
