Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available exclusively online at ActorsTheatre.org. If you have joined us before, you likely already have an account. If you are unsure if you have an account, try logging in using the email address at which you receive Actors Theatre emails. If you have not joined us before, please visit https://my.actorstheatre.org/account/create to create your account. Make sure to save your login information where you can find it later, as you’ll need it to use any applicable member benefits, make your purchase, and access your tickets or digital content.
Can I buy tickets in person?
We have shifted to online-only ticketing. Our facilities are closed outside of performance times.
How do I reset my password on ActorsTheatre.org?
Click the “Forgot Password” link and enter the email address you have on file with us. If you have an account with us, you should receive a password reset email. (Please check Spam, Junk or Promotions folders if you do not see it in your inbox.) If your account was originally created through Facebook, the password reset function is not applicable. You must sign in using the “Log in With Facebook” button.
I have not received an email (password reset, confirmation or mobile tickets) that I am expecting. What can I do?
Occasionally, emails from Actors Theatre of Louisville can get rerouted to Spam, Junk or Promotions folders. If you do not see an email you are expecting from us, please check those places. We also recommend adding BoxOffice@actorstheatre.org and ThankYou@actorstheatre.org to your inbox's list of contacts or safe senders. If you need assistance, please email BoxOffice@actorstheatre.org.
I just purchased a ticket to an in-person show. When will I get my ticket?
You might already have it, as Actors Theatre has implemented mobile ticketing. This means your ticket will be emailed to you. As a reminder, if you do not receive an expected email within three hours, please check your Spam or Junk folders. Tickets feature a barcode which will be scanned upon entry to the theater. If you would like a hard copy of your ticket, you are welcome to print the email that contains your mobile ticket and bring that to the theater with you. Otherwise, we can scan the ticket directly from your email on your mobile device, or you can access mobile tickets by logging into your account, clicking on Upcoming Events and then selecting the event you are attending.
Can I exchange my tickets?
Ticket exchanges are subject to availability and may vary from production to production. Please email BoxOffice@actorstheatre.org with your exchange request and a team member will be in touch with you. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the theatre; we will be happy to make alternate arrangements for your tickets.
I have tickets to a performance but I'm not feeling well. What should I do?
Actors Theatre is committed to the safety and well-being of all who enter our spaces, and we ask that if you feel unwell, you do not attend your performance. Please email BoxOffice@actorstheatre.org prior to your scheduled performance and a team member will be in touch with you regarding your options, which may include a credit for another in-person performance.
Where can I park for an in-person show?
Covered parking is available for $10 per vehicle in the Actors Theatre garage attached to the theater complex, with entrances on both Main Street and Third Street. Designated accessible spots are located on the Mezzanine Level and Level 3 on the Main Street side of the garage. The garage accepts cash and credit cards; we have discontinued the use of pre-paid parking passes or parking tokens.
When will the building open prior to my performance?
Actors Theatre's building will generally open to ticketed guests one hour prior to the performance.
Will drink service be available at my performance?
Yes! Please join us for a drink outside of the Pamela Brown Auditorium in the Sara Shallenberger Brown Lobby. Our bar features wine, beer, canned cocktails, soda, and non-alcoholic beverages. We invite you to enjoy drinks in the theater and the lobby.
