How do I pick up my tickets?

You can pick up your ticket packets at the Guest Services table at the following times (otherwise, please proceed to the Box Office):

  • Friday, March 24,  4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • (College Days ticket packets will be available in the Main Lobby)
  • Friday, March 31,  12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 1,  9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 6,  12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Friday, April 7,  9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Where is the box office and what are the hours?

The Box Office is located next to the double elevators at the Main Street entrance to the parking garage.

Monday 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday – Friday 10 a.m. – half an hour after last curtain time
Saturday & Sunday Noon – half an hour after last curtain time

Where is the Guest Services table?

The Guest Services table is located in the Frazier Lobby, right next to the box office.


Can I buy Actors Theatre and Humana Festival Swag?

Yes, a gift shop and bookstore will be located in the lobby. Actors Theatre and Humana Festival merchandise will be available along with Humana Festival anthologies, scripts from this year’s playwrights, and other theatre-related books.

How do I get to the offsite events (ex. Ovation Celebration and Cocktail Mixer)?

All offsite events are within walking distance to the theatre (5-6 blocks). There will also be shuttle vans that can take you from the theatre to the event. Shuttles will be available throughout the event to take you back to the theatre or to partner hotels. Shuttle times will be posted at each event.

What should I do if I’m staying somewhere other than a partner hotel (ex. AirBnB)?

There are several local taxi companies. Uber and Lyft are also available in Louisville.

*Note that you will need to call for a taxi and request a pickup as most taxis do not respond to being flagged down on the street.


Is there a way I can get my schedule, show information, and other festival information on my phone?

Yes! Download the Guidebook App on your phone or tablet and search for “2017 Humana Festival of New American Plays.” You will have access to bios, schedules, events information and much more! The app also has a social networking feature that will allow you to connect with other Festival guests.


What meals are provided and where should I go to eat?

Food will be provided several times throughout the Festival.

The event listed below will have an open bar and appetizers

  • Encore Cocktail Mixer Thursday, April 6,  7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Yes, coat check will be available during the following times. The cost is $2 per item.

Where is Lost and Found?

Lost and Found is located in the Front of House office on Level 1 in the Sara Shallenberger Lobby, near the entrance to the Pamela Brown Auditorium.
