Join UNIVERSES at Actors Theatre of Louisville for a summer intensive! Actors Theatre continues our tradition of empowering and supporting young talent through our New Voices program.

High School Students and recent graduates ages 14-19 interested in a Summer writing intensive featuring storytelling, devising, and performance.

Students will collaborate with the nationally recognized UNIVERSES ensemble in a workshop exploring creative expression through writing, musically-infused poetic storytelling, dance, and rhythm. More about UNIVERSES can be found here:

The Intensive will take place Tuesday-Saturday from 12:00pm- 3:00pm June 17 - 28th, 2025. A final rehearsal and PERFORMANCE will be held on the final day, June 28th (12:00pm - 5:00pm). Performance will begin at 4:00pm on June 28th

$0 - $500 / New Voices is supported by LG&E and KU and the Norton Foundation and so we are pleased to offer admission on a sliding scale. More information is provided in the GUARDIAN SECTION of the application above.

Applications are accepted on a rolling bases until April 25, 2025. Participants will be notified of their admission around mid-May 2025.
Interested parties should complete this application with their guardian to submit themselves for consideration. There are separate sections for both student and guardian to complete.
