Louisville Fringe Festival
September 12-15, 2024 (schedule below)
in the Victor Jory Theater

Louisville Fringe Festival is The Derby City’s annual and only theatre festival dedicated to bringing original performing arts and artists from the fringes onto the stage. For the first time ever, Louisville Fringe Festival is bringing their gang of brave artists and big-hearted malcontents to Actors Theatre. Dedicated to making Louisville weirder, more compassionate, and generally all around more kickass, Louisville Fringe Festival defines theatre as ANYTHING you do with live people for live people.

This year's festival includes:

  • "The ten-minute play pressure cooker" SHOTZ, bringing two nights of original ten-minute plays
  • three witches shakespeare—a queer-focused classical theatre company bringing a Hamlet-on-Hamlet face-off as well as some of the most homoerotic bits of Romeo and Juliet
  • Mr. Spreadlove (Lance Newman), who is hosting the first-ever Louisville Fringe Fest Poetry Slam
  • Keith McGill, in his new and much-anticipated solo show, Over My Dead Husband
  • and an evening of performance artists curated by Fringe's fave performance artist, the sometimes hilarious, sometimes terrifying, and ALWAYS engaging Hannah DeWitt
