This position will work as the primary artist on all aspects of the paint process from lay-in through completion. Additional skills using Photoshop and AutoCAD to assist with the creation of digital images to meet format requirements for printing is a bonus. This position is primarily responsible for assisting Stage Management with assigned tasks during technical rehearsals and performances. Stage Crew will assist with large scene changes involving movement of furniture, set pieces, and properties. Work to resolve issues involved with moving scenery as well as coordinate with the Prop Manager and Technical Director to maintain and repair all physical equipment related to show operation after opening night. Stage Crew may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, and reposition large objects weighing up to 50 pounds either alone or with a team. This position is responsible for assisting in the sourcing, fabrication, altering, repairing, dressing, load-in, and strike of Prop elements for assigned productions and events. They may also be asked to assist in the packing and transporting of furniture and props between two locations as well as helping with the ongoing organization and maintenance of our prop stock. Candidates should have a broad knowledge of period styles pertaining to furniture and hand props. An ideal candidate would possess basic skills in carpentry, craft work, soft goods, sewing, research, and computer graphics. Experience with metalworking, molding/casting, special effects, electronics, painting, furniture construction and finishing techniques, or upholstery is a plus, along with a valid driver's license. The Props Artisan may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, and reposition large objects weighing up to 50 pounds either alone or with a team. Collaborative personality, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team are a must. Dressers are responsible for the care and maintenance of costumes during tech and run of the production. They will provide hands-on assistance with pre and post show duties, quick changes, emergency repairs and laundry as assigned by the Costume/Wardrobe supervisor. Candidates should have an understanding of how to run a wardrobe track backstage. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds while navigating stairs and work in confined spaces with low visibility. This position will require you to work on weekdays, weekends, and evenings as scheduled. Members of the Radical Hospitality Team work together to foster a welcoming environment for all people, especially for those belonging to historically excluded communities and identities. Specific roles and responsibilities will be flexible on a shift-by-shift basis and include greeting guests, verifying vaccination documentation, scanning tickets, responding to accessibility needs, providing assisted listening devices, ushering and assisting guests with way finding through the theater and lobby spaces.
