Traffic Flow Forecast

In order to help you plan your visit, Actors Theatre has developed a Traffic Flow Forecast that anticipates traffic flow for the current and upcoming week of performances.

Traffic Flow Forecast Definitions

Normal – Traffic volume is expected to by typical for downtown given the time of day and day of week.
Increased Volume – Traffic volume may be more than is typical, based on a small number of downtown events due to begin at or near the same time.
Heavy – Traffic may be at a high volume based on a significant number of downtown events due to begin at or near the same time.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: November 27 – December 2

November 27 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the performance on November 27 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

November 28 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on November 28.

November 29 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be increased volume prior to the performance on November 29.

November 30 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on November 30.

December 1 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee and evening performances on December 1.

December 2 matinee performances: Traffic is anticipated to be increased volume prior to the matinee performances on December 2.

December 2 evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the evening performances on December 2.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: December 4 – 9

December 4 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be increased volume prior to the performance on December 4.

December 5 performance: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the performance on December 5 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

December 6 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 6.

December 7 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 7.

December 8 matinee performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee performances on December 8.

December 8 evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the evening performances on December 8 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

December 9 matinee performances: Traffic is anticipated to be increased volume prior to the matinee performances on December 9.

December 9 evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the evening performances on December 9.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: December 11 – 16

December 11 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 11.

December 12 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the performance on December 12 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

December 13 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 13.

December 14 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 14.

December 15 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the matinee and evening performances on December 15 due to events at the KFC YUM! Center.

December 16 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee and evening performances on December 16.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: December 18 – 23

December 18 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 18.

December 19 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 19.

December 20 performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the performances on December 20.

December 21 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be heavy prior to the matinee and evening performances on December 21 due to an event at the KFC YUM! Center.

December 22 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee and evening performances on December 22.

December 23 matinee and evening performances: Traffic is anticipated to be normal prior to the matinee and evening performances on December 23.

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: December 24 – 30

December 24 – 30: No performances

TRAFFIC FLOW FORECAST: December 31 – January 6

December 31 – January 6: No performances

Please note: The 2nd Street Bridge will be closed to traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through November 2019.
